There is a Package at Your Door

Guess What’s Inside?

It is spring time. Hooray! The daffodils are blooming in the neighbor’s yards. The tulips are poking their green leave out of the ground.  And there is a package sitting on your doorstep. Did you notice it? It’s been there for a while. It is waiting for you to bring it into your house and welcome it. What is inside? The thing that you have been waiting for.

You have been working hard. Really hard. Your life has been full of jobs to be done, careers to attend to, children to raise and relationships to maintain. All along there have been things that you have wanted. Maybe they included a better job, a nicer house, a new car, a vacation. Certainly, health and happiness for loved ones is on your list. Also, on the list are the more intangible items. Like a time to sit down and breathe. A moment of peace. A feeling of inner contentment and satisfaction. This is what is in the box.

Go out your front door. Pick up the box. Bring it inside. Set it on the table. Now take a deep breath. Open it. Look inside. What is there? You. Your beautiful complete and whole self. The self you have told yourself does not exist. This is the you that knows. Knows that you are enough. That you are complete just as you are; in this very moment. You have everything you need to do what you have been longing to do. It is here. Now.

All you must do is welcome it. It is and always has been yours. It’s okay. Maybe you forgot. Maybe some people in your life helped you forget who you are. Now you know the truth. Claim your amazing self. Stand in the truth of the brilliant light that you are.

You are amazing. Go out and shine. I see you. Let me know the goodies that were in the box.
